Question: I just got an expander and I'm having a hard time eating and drinking... can anyone give me tips on how I can do this?

I had an expander for about 2 years and i know how you feel. it was hard to talk? hard to eat? yeah. well all you can really do is try to work around it, practice saying words when your alone, and eventually it wont even seem like you have it anymore!! :) i hope i helped

i remember getting an expander after having a baby tooth pulled out. i had to eat soft foods until the pain went away. try using orajel it might work but it went away eventually.
