Anybody know a dentist that would....?!

Anybody know a dentist that would....?

My mom is 41 years old and she's having extreme pain in her one tooth right next to her front 2 teeth. She has aready went to UIC to rid her infection of gum disease but she is still in great pain with this one tooth. Now she's been to many dentist to see if they would just remove it, but they told her they wouldn't remove it cause there's no infection and since it's in front. Could someone just tell me why won't any dentist remove it if my mom is in such pain and she just wants it out. Any suggestions would be great and if anyone knows of a denist that would do this in chicago il. thanks inadvance

Most medical professionals do not like to do anything that they don't consider medically necessary or beneficial, but I am sure there are plenty of desperate quacks who will do just about anything if you pay them. Keep looking, if that's what you want.
What I suggest, on the other hand, is getting a full explanation from a dentist who won't do the work about his/her reasoning as well as his/her recommendations of what to do now (e.g., see another kind of specialist).
