How many days should a root canal hurt after.?
I got it done on Tuesday. It hurt so much that it woke me up this morning. I've never had one before so I'm not sure if it should hurt for a few days tough.

No, it shouldn't really hurt at this point. You might want to check in with your dentist and have it checked out. During Root Canels, the nerve and pulp is completely removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned out. Tooth is actually dead after RC and without the nerve, you shouldn't feel it at all.
I'd call your dentist and make sure everything went well.
I'm sure it did but it never hurts to double check. You may find out what the source is, may even be a different tooth adjacent the RC site. Good luck and I hope you feel better!
