the headache IS NOT terrible..just slight....

Answers:

There are many nerves that are injured when the wisdom tooth has some problems and when it is extracted. When nerves are involved referred pain could be at a far place. It is possible that your headaches could be related to the tooth extraction, and in that case it will go away. Yes, it could be related to totally different factors specially allergy in this season. People develop polyps in their sinuses. Mucous membrane lining the sinuses is inflames because of allergens. You feel increased pressure in the involved areas. These sinuses can get secondarily infected causing serious headaches. You said that you have slight headaches. If you have allergies please take allergy medications. If sinuses are involved then use nasal sprays and you will feel better.
First thing is to wait for sometime and see. Keep taking mild pain killers. If you have allergies then as I mentioned before take allergy medications. You will be okay, so don't worry.
