Does chewing gum really give you gas?!

Question: i think yes since the more you chew the gum, the more air you will intake, thus giving more gas inside your stomach.
*me, i don't like much to chew gums or even avoid taking it cause i will always yawn after spitting it out and my stomach will starve to hunger. lol
