I get my braces off.....?!
Question: Ok so I get them off thursday and Im worried!Will it hurt?Will the outline of the bracket show?They wont bleach my teeth for 2 weeks....so should get whitestrips?I want them to look good!Any pointers?Oh yeah what should I do about this?

when i got my braces off (dec 31) they looked fine.. no outline or anything like that, but i felt really weird, i kept licking my teeth because they feel sooo smooth. Getting the braces off took about a minute the doctor just snapped each bracket did something in the back and everything came off at once.. so it wont hurt but your teeth and lips will feel so strange and unaccustomed after you get your braces off. i guess if you want to you can use whitestrips but id just wait the two weeks.
congrats, on your or tho treatment, the only thing you have to remember is to wear your retainer if you had good oral care during your dental treatment you will not have the brace line.
noo getting your braces off dont hurt. its a bit uncomfortable, but its not painful. the glue that the orthodontist used to glue your brackets on may still be a bit noticable, and your teeth may be a bit stained. just have your teeth bleached after two weeks. when i got my braces off my teeth were white so you have nothing to worry about. make sure you wear your retainer!!
