I have worked around it for many years! Let them know that at the beginning of your appointment, you don't have to HAVE to have it. It just relaxes you and you don't feel as much, but you don't have to have the nitrous. Some people do feel slightly sick on so we didn't use it on them. Also, if you don't breath enough oxgen immediately, and get up too quickly it can have the same effect.

If you are having ANY problems with the nitrous Tell your dentist/ He will turn it down or completely off. He can deaden your mouth when he works on your teeth. Sometimes people don't pay a lot of attention to kids - this is YOUR mouth these are YOUR teeth.
That being said, he was probably giving you to much of the nitrous.Tell him about your concerns when you first get there. He can adjust the plan accordingly!! ?

It's possible that they had it on a high setting. The first time I got it I felt like I was spinning. The second time my body felt like it was buzzing all over. I hope you told your dentist what you felt so s/he might be able to fix the problem.

Good luck!
