Bumpy edge teeth? TREATMENT?!

Question: My teeth seem to be slightly transparent at the ends that reveal a kind of bumpy look. The edge of my teeth are quite jaggardy and I was wondering whether there is any treatment to file them down so they have a smoother look.
If anybody knows of any kind of treatment, please could you tell me the name of it and where I could possible get it in the UK.
Thank you for your help!

Those are called mamelons, they are there because when front teeth form they are made from 3 "lobes" that mush together. Usually you only see them in young children because they get worn down over time with just normal eating. If you don't have very good occlusion they might persist into adulthood. As far as the slight transparency that is good and normal. Enamel is basically transparent and it is only the outer layer of teeth. The middle layer is what give our teeth an opaque slightly yellow look and it does not extend to the tip of our teeth. If the mamelons bother you, you could ask your dentist to smooth them. Any dentist should do it for you, especially if they are jaggardy and/or sharp, although you might want to have your occlusion evaluated by an orthodontist as well.

i had those they went away im 18.

Just go to your dentist and they will file it down for you. I know many people older than 18 who still have them.
