How can I get my teeth whiter without spending a lot of money?!

Question: Let's set the budget limit at ten dollars.

How can I get my teeth much whiter? I think that they are yellow, although most people say that they look all right.

Thanks!

I wouldn't suggest you use hydrogen peroxide. If your gonna use it use it once a week... it has a tendency of deteriorating your teeth. But i think that baking soda, (although it tastes horrible) works the best. Unless you wanna pay 15-20 dollars buying whitening strips.

hydrogen peroxide. very cheap and it works. Just use it like mouth wash for 30 seconds a day. you'll notice a difference in a week.

Brush your teeth w/baking soda.

baking powder. brush your teeth with it like 3 times a week. what is hydorgen peroxide?

Ask your pharmacist & tell him your budget. There are so many new items on the shelves that I cannot keep up with them. Just when you find one that you like don't abuse it. It could damage the enamel.

Fatdude427 - if you look at the list of ingredients in most tooth whitening products (including the strips) you may notice that the tooth whitening ingredient is some form of Hydrogen Peroxide. Just use hydrogen peroxide instead of your regular mouth wash.

Every morning and before bed after brushing and flossing use Hydrogen Peroxide as your mouth wash. You can buy hydrogen peroxide (3% in the brown bottle) at your local drugstore for about $2 for a 32 ounce bottle. Mix ? ounce hydrogen peroxide with ? ounce hot water and swirl in your mouth for about 1 minute (hydrogen peroxide is tasteless but it FOAMS). Spit out (DO NOT SWALLOW) and then rinse your mouth out several times with cool water. A 32 ounce bottle will last about a month.

Hydrogen peroxide will not only whiten your teeth it also kills the bacteria in the mouth that causes bad breath and cavities. Hydrogen Peroxide DOES NOT cause tooth decay but it will cause the skin on the inside of your mouth to shed.

For even more tooth whitening try a hydrogen peroxide and baking soda toothpaste.

well i work at a dental office and just trained to be a DA. I have learned whitenings at dental offices such as zoom or sapphire work rly well and last for up to a year at around 300-600 dollars. However whitening from stores could work just as well it just takes longer to get results and doesnt last as long.
