extremely well, this is the best and newer technology of braces, coming from someone who has had them, and learned from one of the first orthodontists to have them.
you can expect definite advantages to older traditional braces, and no disadvantages whatsoever.
there are fewer appointments, faster treatment, less discomfort, and more advanced ways to align your mouth successfully.
the results are definetely worth it.
you mostly will not expect to get extractions with these braces, nor will you have to worry about wearing them too long, since you say you have mild crowding and an overbite, treatment time may likely even be 2 years or less.
you are highly fortunate, for most teenagers this age, have traditional braces with rubber bands to hold together their brackets. Damon System uses self-ligation process, as traditional braces have elastic ties, that create more force and friction to cause slower and more discomfort treatment.
i dont even know about them that well, i didnt know they made them that small until now, i just looked on google for them and they are like so much more smaller, looks like they might work better than normal ones
