Question: i havnt wore my retainer since, so i went to the dentist and he took the shape of my teeth and made me a new retainer........
...what i dont understand is how would my teeth go back to the way they were when the shape he took is my current crooked tooth?.....soo lost!!

It may be that he/she is making something called a split trutain (in the UK).
Your Orthodontist may get the dental lab to "reposition" this tooth on your model and then make a retainer to go over this new model. When this retainer is fitted to you, it should (assuming there is space) push your tooth back into line as it is on the new model.
However, like I say to all my patients "if you aren't sure ask me". So I'd say ask your orthodontist if you don't know what's happening.
