White spot on tooth?!

Question: I brush my teeth twice a day, and use mouth wash after each brush, along with flossing every other day. For a long time now, on one of my front teeth, I have this big white spot!!! How do I get rid of it? I hate it because EVERYONE notices it. THANKS!

The white spot is decalcification. You actually want to use MORE fluoride to help strengthen the tooth. The spot may never go away unless you do either veneers or bonding to cover it up.

A dentist may be able to give you some pointers on which is more appropriate for you.

go to a dentist....it happens 2 alot of ppl....its nothing bad

I knew another friend with the exact same problem. You are using too much fluoride. I would see a dentist to find out what could be done to fix the spot.
