Oral-B Super Floss?!

Question:

Oral-B Super Floss?

After having used Oral-B Super Floss for years I now find that it is not made as well as it used to be.
Does anyone know of an alternative?

Answers:

Recommend you ask your dentist/ hygienist.

It may be that the space you are trying to clean has changed slightly and the superfloss no longer fits? This happens a lot when gums become much healthier due to the hard work of the owner!
( the swelling in the gums resolves, the gums tighten up around the teeth, clamping the teeth in.) There are many different types and brands of superfloss available now due to the number of patients who have crowns, bridges and implants.

I tend to look at the space around the area concerned and then recommend the appropriate superfloss/implant floss( or in some cases, inter dental brushes that look like mini pipe cleaners) to each individual patient's mouth.

Unfortunately, without seeing the space you are trying to clean, it is difficult to know what suits you best. Also, in dental practices, we buy in bulk so are able to supply a much wider range to the public than a supermarket can. (I think the Oral B superfloss is "less fluffy" than it used to be)

please consier a chat with your dentist/hygienist who can look at the space you are trying to clean and advise on what fits the space.

Personally, I use Tepe interdental brushes (from dentisit/chemists/supermarkets... dipped into mouthwash.
