Is a wisdom tooth coming in? Or could this be something else?!

Is a wisdom tooth coming in? Or could this be something else?

About a week ago I noticed a pain in the left side of my mouth whenever I was eating. The pain was far back past my teeth, in my gums.

Then today it suddenly got a lot worse. It used to only hurt while I ate but now it hurts basically whenever I move my mouth. It's still only on my left side and now I feel the pain in my gums and back into my jaw, nearly to my ear.

I am just wondering if this sounds like it could be a wisdom tooth coming in or if it could be something else. I can't see a dentist right now as I am kind of in between insurance plans. I just need a better understand of what I am dealing with.

In response to the answer regarding an ear infection, I've also had some discomfort with my left ear that I forgot to mention. On the outside of my ear, inside one of the flaps (actually close to, I guess you would call it, the entrance) it feels like there's a pimple or something. That part of my ear gets a lot of wax built up and I think it scabs too. Whenever I try to clean it there are very small specks of blood.

I can't get a good look at it since it's in one of the "flaps" of my ear. This has been going on for a few days so I didn't know if it was related or not.

Yep, sounds like it. It could be an ear infection coming on, too, though. I would say more than likely, it isdefinitely a wisdom tooth coming in, though, and I feel your pain as this is never a comfortable thing.
