Those dumb *** spacers are the worst part of braces they are stupid and hurt the most out of anything they will put in your mouth. try taking some advil or something or suck on ice.
but dont take them out they will only make u wear them longer if you do.

don't take them out. I promise you will get used to them give them some time.

Yea im 11 i got spacers when i was 9 and i just got used to the after like a day or 2 there no so bad once you have them for awhile.
Your Welcome

Ask a parent to give you about 400mg of an Ibuprofen such as Advil or Motrin. This will help to ease the discomfort. You will always want to keep an Ibuprofen on hand while in Orthodontic treatment, the anti-inflammatory medications work the best for all dental pain.

If you take the spacers out it will be very painful and difficult to place the appliance. The spacers are used to open the area gently over a period of days, allowing the appliance to slip on easily without having to force it in between the teeth.

Whatever you do, don't take them out. Take tylenol or advil and be careful what you eat. The pain will stop over time, and will be worth it in the end. If you take out the spacers then the rest of your orthodontic time will be miserable and painful. Hang in there, the pain/annoyment will eventually stop.

Good luck*
