if it's still there, i think that's a problem. you could harm your esophagus/larynx that way and it could possibly lead to infection. i've never heard of this case though, so don't worry. try getting it checked though, immediately. i hope it gets out! :)

I wouldnt worry about it I doutb the gum would course you and harm, but if worried then go see your doctor.

That's an old wives tale. It goes right through your system. You flushed it down the toilet weeks ago. Check it out for yourself at http://www.snopes.com/oldwives/chewgum.a...

Its not quite frankly the gum that will be giving you some problems with indigestion of some sort. But recently you may have either gotten food poisoning or something that can cause an uncomfortable feeling.

So let me ask you this. When you have gas, do you have a big pink bubble coming out the other end?

It will pass through your system, dont worry. If bubblegum was that dangerous, then there would be warnings on every gum packet saying "Do not swallow." Of course, common sense tells us not to swallow it, but I'm sure everyone has. I have. And if bubblegum caused such serious intestine problems, I'm sure they wouldnt sell gum in the first place, expecially to kids. You would hear on the news if bubblegum was a threat to your health. people all over would be in the hospital from swallowing gum. How do you know that you are feeling sick a month later because of the gum? Maybe you have a stomach bug or something didnt agree with your stomach. Don't try to make yourself throw up, that's really bad for you. Its worse making yourself throw up than it is swallowing gum. Just go see a doctor to put your mind at ease. : )

Keep watching for it to come out. It's probably still stuck in your stomach
