Compacted molars anyone?!
Question: Has anyone had compacted molars? Mine are growing in facing my other teeth-completely sideways-haven't even broken the skin yet. I have never been scared of the dentist and since I found out they won't put me to sleep before they remove them I have actually been scared. So I want to know what it was like for other people, to prepare myself. so A-how bad did the procedure hurt? if any. B- how did you feel after the procedure C- how did you feel the day after the procedure and D-were you put to sleep,numbed or what? Please rate pain 1-5 5 being worst pain ever and 1 being minimal. Some people I know were put to sleep to have their's removed but unfortanetly my insurance doesn't cover that and I don't have thousands of dollars to pay for the medications. Right now I have 2 options- 1 is they just numb me and 2 is they give me valiums. I'm scared!

Wait until you find an oral surgeon who can put you out. It doesn't sound like an emergency. I work in a very expensive area and to be put out is only about $300. Check around. I've heard too many horror stories by people who weren't put out.
