Not to sound disguting, but what's the point brushing after you wake up?!

Question: If you brush before you sleep, what's the point brushing when you get up? it's not like you've eaten anything or you're teeth have gotten dirty over night..so why do so many people do it?

At night while you are sleeping, there is no salivary flow to wash away debris and bacteria. Because of that, all the bacteria that exist in your mouth have a free run in there, multiplying like crazy, causing morning breath, and higher potential for decay. Brushing in the morning helps to eliminate that odor and large amounts of bacteria in your mouth

Have you ever felt the film in your mouth when you wake up?? That is plaque and it is a bacteria that grows in your mouth, even when your sleeping..that is why you need to brush when you wake up.

cuz overnight thats when you get lots of germs and germ build up in the night . and you sleep like 7 or more hours without brushing ,

Are you serious?
Ok, while you are sleeping, inside your mouth acumulates bacteria. That is why when people wake up, their mouth smells like SHT. Also, the tongue holds bacteria, so make sure you brush it also.

Besides to get the sleepy time sweaters off...to also get the "did a dog just crap in my mouth" funky smell cleaned away! Brush Brush Brush

You can never really get all the germs and bacteria when you brush.

Only most of it.

The bacteria and plaque grows over night.

Mostly from the tongue so brush your tongue as well.
