I am getting my braces in in 2 weeks time ,my friends all asked me the same question 'Why do you need braces? Your teeth look pefect!!' The reason i need braces is because when my molars come in my teeth are all going to budge ur and i would have really horrible teeth!! The reason for that is because my gums are too small for me!!
You may have the same problem as me!!
Hope I've helped!! :)

btw,(to anyone who answered) thnx for answering :) Report It

  • Why would you remove thousands of dollars? I am sure that you mean, your orthodontist, not your dentist. If your dentist put them on, then I have no idea what's going on. But, if an orthodontist recommended them, and did put them on, I am sure he/she did so for a reason. Ask him/her why they did, and I am quite certain that they will be more than happy to tell you in detail.

If you are happy with your teeth have your dentist remove them. Don't try to remove them yourself. But if your teeth are severely crooked I would recommend keeping them because straighten your teeth will allow you to keep them cleaner and prevent cavity's. One thing that concerns me is why did your Dentist put braces on you if you didn't want or need them. If you decide you want to keep the Braces you might want to transfer your treatment to an Orthodontist. Orthodontist complete Dental School and then go to specialize in Orthodontics's for another 3 years. You might have a better result by going to someone who specialize in straighten teeth.

Well. You sure shouldn't try taking them off by yourself. But my friend had straight nice teeth. But her ortho recomended braces. But she didn't get the usual 2 years she only got it for 6 months.
