Can you help me with my lost retainer? (more of a rant than a question)?!
Question: I got my braces off about a year ago. I had them on for about 2.5 years, because my teeth were not align, they were always straight though. So like when I bit down my bottom and top teeth didn't like lock right. It is actually pretty uncomfortable. Right now I am supposed to be wearing my retainer every other night but I really wear it every night because my teeth shift super easily. On Wednesday I lost it. I've looked EVERYWHERE for it. Like sooo hard, under couches, in the trash. I'm super nervous, especially because my orthodontist is about 1.5 hours away. My mom isn't really doing anything. She knows nothing about braces, and never had them, and she says that nothing will happen. And when I tell her I need my retainer now because my teeth are shifting a ton, she yells at me and tells me that I am reacting. Gah. And I am pretty much positive that my little brother or dog took it. Neither of them talk, so no use asking. gahhhhh help to stop my teeth from shifting or any advice?

If you can't find it within an Hour, call your Ortho for an emergency appointment.
I'm sure you don't want braces again.
Check inside and under your bed - sometimes you will spit it out while you are sleeping.
