Can you get rid of this underbite and what can you do with the jaw?!

Question: i'm 13 years old and extremly unhappy with my underbite. it's actually worse than it looks on the picture and right now i have braces but also as you can see my whole jaw is just way too much in the front. i know i would have to wait 5 more years to see the final result but i want this to go faster. i got my wisdom teeth taken out. not the upper ones. well they took them out before they grew and now i still need to wait for the upper ones to grow... if they will ever grow out. i get teased for it a lot. everybody says i have a flat head and some people called me gorilla. it's really a huge issue. also, you know how thumbsucker's teeth stick out a lot? mine do too but just a little.
my braces and those rubber thingys don't seem to help and i had them for the last 2 years. they want to take them out at the beginning of april. what can i do? and i wouldn't have any money problems, so i don't care how much it costs.

I feel ya, after 6 years of braces for an overbite it seemed like forever, the good news is that it was well worth the wait I have perfect teeth now.

There are surgeries that would involve breaking and re-setting your jaw, but it's a little extreme. Although those rubberbands can cause TMJ and screw up your jaw anyways and you may have to have it reset as an adult so if it is possible to avoid it get it done now.

Otherwise they have headgear and things you can wear at night to speed it along. Your body is still growing so now is the best time to do that as your teeth and bone that keep them in place can adjust faster than if you were 16 or 17.

Talk to your ortho about other alternatives... Or an oral surgeon.

You need to speak with an oral surgeon. They can surgically cut your top gums and place your upper teeth so they land normal w/ your bottom teeth. (Something like that) Look on Internet or yellow pages and search for an oral surgeon in your area. There should be 2 or 3 in every city.

Getting rid of an underbite is possible.

However, you will probably need reverse-pull headgear, which looks like this;

Jaw surgery may also be another option.
