Scab-like thing after Wisdom Teeth?!
Question: I got my wisdom teeth taken out Thursday. Around the molars in front of the extraction site there seems to be some sorta scabby thing. I first noticed them the day after. The problem is I think it's in the way of me putting in my lower retainer. I've gotten my braces off two months ago and I've already gone 2 days without my retainer. Help.

It's just a way of healing. If you notice swelling and pus and a fever, then you should be alarmed.
I would say if you still can't wear your retainer in 3 days then you should call your oral surgeon for advice. When you put it on you may notice that it fits slightly differently, your teeth will go back into their new alignment.
Obviously, call your dentist right away! It is probably just a natural process of healing. If it is in the way of you putting in your retainer, then explain that to the dentist.
If you see a different doctor for your braces, then call him/her.
You don't want to undo all the work you already went through with your braces, even if its only a bit.
