Had extraction and bone grafting done, still bleeding?

I had it done around 4:30, and its 8:30 now...I'm still bleeding, is this normal??? I'm worried ill have to go asleep with a gauze, what should I do???

Avoid rinsing out. Hold pressure on the area as long as possible with the gauze. Put ice in a bag and keep it on your face in that area. Wet a tea bag and bite on it or hold in place. If you take a lot of anti inflammatory medication it can cause you to bleed longer. Try to stay calm, lay down and keep heart rate low if possible. I've had some patients put a wet washcloth in the freezer so they could bite down on that without having too much liquid in their mouth. You need to clot to stop the bleeding.
