Does Listerine Hurt Braces?!
Question: i was just wondering because before i go to bed 2night im gonna try Listerine and i have braces.... oh yea and another do i use Listerine be4 i brush my teeth or after? thanks

no it is not harmful to your braces, in fact it is a good idea to use it. with all the metal in our mouths when we have braces, food gets trapped everywhere and it's difficult to brush. this can and will cause gingivitis (swollen gums). so yes by all means use it after you brush. you can even brush with the listerine, place in a cup and dip your brush in the liquid and brush normally, this can get the liquid into spots you otherwise missed when you rinse. after you do so do not rinse with water let the listerine work it's magic. be well
No, it will not hurt your braces. I always use mouthwash after I brush my teeth. You can use it before, but it works best after.
It won't hurt your braces. I recommend using mouthwash after you brush and floss. It is the "final rinse", as I like to call it.
