my tooth ache has been kicking my ***. can i take 2percs instead of 1 they are 10-325mg. the dentist prescribed them to me.

As a dentist (DMD) I highly recommend you only taking the dose that your doctor has prescribed. This is an extremely powerful narcotic that can make you very ill if you take more than the prescribed dose. It may take some time for this to fully get into your system to get pain relief, but your best bet is to not exceed the doseage set by your dentist, we always put these doses on a prescription for a reason. Try using a cold compress in addition to your medication, the cold will help numb the gums and should help with pain relief. Good luck and hang in there, using your prescribed dose of pain medication and a cold compress will help with pain.
