Could I change my braces?!
Question: I've had my braces for around 5 months now and I got the ones that are supposed to be the white ceramic braces. I decided to get this one because I thought it would be less noticeable but the wire turns yellow after a while and they aren't the same as the ones they showed me a picture of. Do you think I could ask my orthodontist to change my braces to the metal braces?

i had the white ones so i know what you mean.....don't even bother asking for the metal ones, they hurt, and the color ones aren't good for you....(so my orthodontist said...lol)
you just have to brush them like crazy and make sure you go to all your appointments and get them changed regularly....good luck, and they'll be off before you know it
nonono you don't want the metal ones. they're foul. They dig into your gums and every morning you wake up with this gross metal taste in your mouth.
Also he'd prolly charge you a whole bunch to switch them over. Just stick it out and wait for your treatment to be over.
You could also try using a whitening toothpaste.
Changing them not only will be expensive but you could undo some of the adjustment and straightening that's happened during the change over. Focus on the care of your teeth and currently fitted braces.
