Lemon juice, baking soda or baking powder can also be used for teeth whitening. Rubbing the bark of walnut tree brightens the teeth. Strawberries are natural teeth whiteners, simply rub them directly on your teeth or mash into a paste and apply.More remedies and information regarding your teeth at http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/

Many dentists reccomend Colgate toothpaste.

Whitening tooth paste are not going to whiten your teeth. They really just maintain your color while you are whitening your teeth with whitening strips. I recommend REMBRANDT? Sensitive Toothpaste. It will help with the sensitivity that whitening your teeth can cause while maintaining your color. If you do decide to use whitening strips I recommend buying Professional Crest whitening strips from your dentist. They are 80% stronger than the ones you can buy from the store. Good Luck!

Hi!

There was a documentary about teeth whitening treatments on tv the other day.

They said that all of the toothpastes on the market were useless.

They said it was because the permitted amount of the whitening ingredient is so low it can only 'maintain' the whiteness of teeth that had already been chemically whitened.

They also warned people to beware of salons offering whitening deals because (once again) the permitted amount of whitening ingredient is useless.

They recommended that people only get it done at their dentist, who is qualified to dispense the ultra whitening stuff that genuinely whitens teeth. You should also expect to either have to go for repeat treatments, or carry on the treatment and home for a while.

Although this was an expensive method, it seemed to be the one that people were most pleased with. I suppose it would be worth it to save up and have it done.

Hope this helps!

there are no toothpastes out there that can really whiten your teeth only bleaching can do that, but the ones that say whitening are really good at getting new stains caused but tea, coffee, wine and foods with strong food colourings. long term stains that have been there for over a month need to be removed by the dentist/hygienist. as it could just be staining making those pearlies look duller.

so no there are no toothpastes that can be recommended for whitening thats why you have found that they dont work.

you could try going into your large chemists and buy a whitening kit. they dont give as good results as going to your dentist as the peroxide is alot weaker but that should help, but first why not check with your dentist incase its just staining making your teeth look duller.
