Im not understanding my recovery from it, about two days after my surgery I found my mouth would only open so far (enough to maybe put your finger in) but I figured give it a week and it should be fine, so I went back for my regular check up and the oral surgeron and the asst. both acted as though it will just takes a little longer for someone people and its fine, but its been 10 days now and my mouth hasnt opened anymore. My question is has anyone else EVER went threw a stiff jaw after going threw wisdom teeth removal..being on the 10 day. Im still having some pain but its off and on, its more like throbbing pain just on one side. Im still taking motrin threw out the day because I have no more pain pills left :( Im still waking up and putting warm towels and rubbing my muscles...WILL IT EVER GO AWAY???

It's your jaw hinge. You need to see a doctor.
You might also have a dry socket? They hurt more than an infected tooth. It takes about 3 weeks for a dry socket to heal.
