It hurts because the wisdom teeth are either piercing your gums or pushing against your other teeth. You should get them removed.

Not removing them can cause something as minor as teeth shifting around (which can cost a great deal of money to fix) or something as major as an infection in your gums.

You should go see your dentist.

Go to the dentist and have it removed. It could be coming in the wrong way or crooked.

Get the tooth removed by your dentist, otherwise see your Dr for some stronger pain relief. Buying over the counter pain relief probably wont be as effective.

Wisdom teeth hurt because they are really big teeth that would try to come out no matter how crowded the space is, which eventually pushes against all your teeth. It's wise to consult your dentist as soon as possible to get them removed because all your other teeth move out of place, because then you'll need to get braces.

ice numb

try advil or tylenol. follow up with your dentist to rule out impaction.

You may have an impacted wisdom tooth thats coming in side ways. Take tylenol and go to your dentist. Get them taken out or it could really mess up your front teeth and make them crowded and crooked.
