Question: My orthodontist wrote a referral letter to extract tooth number #14 and #24 for braces...exactly which two teeth are those/?..are they both molars??

upper left first pre-molar and upper right first pre-molar, basically the teeth next to your "eye teeth" or canine teeth as we call them.

try not to worry, they need to extract something to give you space to move your teeth and correct the alignment of them.

all i no is they start countn from the front so it prob one of the back on top and back one at the bottom

If this is the correct, usually used numbering system, then you are looking at an upper L. 6 year molar and a lower L. central incisor. These are strange extractions for ortho.
