A friend of mine had a virus that cause his mouth to twist, anybody knows what its call?

Bell's Palsy is the most likely. It's not a disease per se though. They don't really know what causes it, but they believe it to be a virus, so it may be treated with an anti-viral plus steroids. But really, it seems as if it just needs to run its course.
Initial symptoms may include an ear ache and things tasting funny.
My husband had it a few years ago, and it took him a while to get his taste buds back, although it had cleared up pretty much in about 2 weeks.
Oh, and one should be sure to tape the affected eye shut at night.
