Weird Tongue Colors?!

Question: Ok. The front part of my tongue is normal. But then in the back of my tongue (all the way in the back to where you can barely see it after you stick your entire tongue out), you can see that it's 90% white. There are also about 10 big, pink dots on it. What is it? I've had it since I was like 10. And I DON'T SMOKE!

Also, all the way in the back (like the back back of the tongue) are 2 even bigger pink dots on each side of my back part of the tongue (about the size of a regular pimple). And it keeps getting whiter.

It looks like as if i put powdered sugar on my tongue. Is there any way I can get rid of it? and what is it? hairy tongue or something? Help :)

No, they are called circumvallete papillae. They are much larger than the other papillae of the tongue. They are in a sligth V shape also. The back of the tongue is normally whiter b/c the buildup is heavier b/c it is so hard to brush.

germs are wight maby you should ask ur docter or dentist

it is perfectly normal for people who are in and past puberty. it is just white because it does not get any natural light. it is vitimin D that gives the color pink to your tongue

if your tongues white means your sick.
I'm serious, my mom told me and sheez a nurse.
but i know nothing about pink dots!

kinda sounds like thrush.
