Question about braces?
I was wondering if height effects your teeth. i'm asking this question because at my ortodontics, alot of tall kids need braces. and most of the tall people i know have or need braces. and i know more tall people with braces than regular sized people. i'm just wondering.

It may be. Your teeth need braces because they are not in place,either your jaw is too big or too small for you mouth. Height affects this when your jaw is too small or too big for your size. If it's too small, that's where braces come in, to make more space for other teeth and to straighten the one that are already there. Then again, you jaw may be too big for your size, which rarely happens, so yes,i think height does in fact affect your teeth. Hope i answered your question. PS. Im getting braces on June and am considered tall for my age, and my jaw is too small. :-)Then again, it is also due to genetics,therefore making that both of the factors affect your jaw and your probabilty of getting braces.
