Getting Braces!?
I'm getting braces next week but i have an appointment tomorrow to get spacers put in between my teeth. Can anyone please tell me whats the point and how do they put them in, (explain the process).
Do they hurt while they put them in or afterwards and will i be able to eat with them.
Personal expeiriences and advice welcome.

The process is very simple .. spacers are small circular bands .. they are put between the teeth for creating a space .. u wud have figured this much out by now .. what happens is when you would go for the appointment the doctor will just use his plyers to stretch the band and put it inbetween the teeth .. they will feel a bit awkward in the first few moments .. but a bit of pain will occur for sometime afterwards .. dont worry .. the pain is not too much .. they will put the band and call u after a few days .. they are used for puttin the molar bands on the posterior teeth ... coz otherwise the band cant be put ... hope your appointment goes good ... relax n chill .. :D
