Does anyone know if you automatically have to crown a route canal, or does it de!

Question:

Does anyone know if you automatically have to crown a route canal, or does it depend on the situation?

Answers:

If the tooth wasn't cracked or broken you do not have to get a crown right away. The dentist will usually tell you to get it as soon as you are able (i.e. have the money). The danger without the crown is that the tooth is more susceptible to cracking or breaking so you will want to be careful. Also, with a front tooth it will eventually discolor even if the dentist puts some bleach inside. I have a molar that should have a crown but I have waited for over six years now (knocking on some nearby wood…)

Good luck.
