Just got braces... In pain!!?

I got braces yesterday and I woke up crying this morning they hurt so bad!!!!! I can't eat... I can't bite down without shooting pains... I feel like i have a zoo in my mouth. I just got a cut inside my cheek from that stupid thingy. My mouth is so sore I can hardley stand it. No one said it'd be this bad. I want to rip them off. What can i do to just make it stop??? I've already taken tylenol today.... ughhhh... I'm dyingggggggggg.. Help me!

My mom called the dentist... He said that the only thing I could do about it was take tylenol... They dont hurt as bad right now... but when the medicine wears off, it's living hell.
