What is the best way to avoid bad breath?!

Question: no silly answers like chewing gum plz.

Answers: no silly answers like chewing gum plz.

there are 3 things that cause halitosis, diet, plaque with germs and infection.

fatty foods and rich or spicy foods can cause bad breath.
not being able to thoroughly clean your teeth tongue and gums can cause bacteria to remain and cause bad breath.
infections or virus's in the gut or mouth can cause bad breath.

so check your having a varied healthy diet first.
check your health, you may feel well but there may be an underlying cause.
make sure you are getting into everywhere like the roof of your mouth and gums and tongue when your brushing and floss regularly.

mouth wash

Just brush your teeth, and use mouthwash and floss...

Clean your teeth twice daily, mouthwash and dental floss.

Chew on parsley (Why is chewing gum a silly answer?)

A healthier diet, bad breath usually comes from the stomach, not the mouth.

After brushing your teeth, gently brush your tongue...

Visit your dentist regularly!

Brush your teeth twice a day, floss and use mouth wash.

Make sure you floss daily and use mouthwash after brushing your teeth. Also bacteria grow on your tongue and this can also cause bad breath. So either gently brush your tongue when you brush your teeth or invest in a tongue scraper.

Of course the obvious answer people say is "Brush your teeth" or "Mouth wash. Yes, you should do this, everyday, but you sould also remember to avoid those really bad-breath-making food. Food like candy floss, garlic bread or anything with garlic, onions, chips and things like that.

Oh and don;t forget to floss and pick.

Get your teeth fixed, you may have a rotten tooth.
Ensure that all food is cleaned out of the mouth after eating, bits stuck in your teeth quickly rot.
Look after your teeth, clean them morning and night.
Stop using mouthwash, it's alcohol, and kills the good bacteria. Mints are better.
Scrape your tongue, and occasionally run the toothbrush over it during brushing.
If you still have a problem then you need to change your eating habits because the problem is in your stomach.
But most of the time it's either a rotten tooth or a build up of bad bacteria in the mouth.

drinking a lot of water. chewing gum is bad because it can cause stomach alcers and is also bad for teeth :) brush your teeth twice a day, do not drink anything but water and eat healthily. mouthwash and floss are obvious, just like brushing but water is key :)

good luck xxx

This is not a silly answer, quite serious. If you do all the things the other people suggest, you should also chew a suger free minty gum, or any other preffered chewable foods. Because if you keep the mouth moving it will help to generally prevent the build up of bad smells in the mouth.
I don't really know the science behind it but when you keep your mouth closed and inactive for long times the bad breath can build up.

Halitosis or bad breath is essentially caused by proteins trapped in the teeth. These proteins are acted upon by bacteria which decomposes it leading to bad breath and odor. The putrefaction of food in the stomach is also a cause of bad breath.Apple cider vinegar prevents the putrefaction of food in the stomach ,thus preventing bad breath.

mouth wash and brush your tongue

brush twice a day including tongue and floss

keep your tongue clean
