Retainers?!

Retainers?

I have retainers for my teeth but i never where them. Its been about 4 years since ive got them. Now i want to start wearing them so my teeth dont completely shift back. is it to late? do i have to start back with braces then work mu way back to retainers or can i start wearing them now?

Because it's been so long I would suggest that you go back to your dentist and check with him as to the best course of action.
