At What Age is A Childs First Tooth Falling out alright?!

Question: My son lost his first tooth yesterday. He is four, going on five in Sept. The tooth was loose and just came right out. He did not cry and there was very little blood. I was just wondering if something was wrong with this--My Mom put concerns in me,when she said a child should be six when this happens.
Thank you for any and all input on this subject.

Don't worry, it varies he is ok just developing fast DMD here

between 4 and 6 is perfectly normal for a 1st tooth

My brother lost his first tooth when he was about to turn 5 as well- and his dentist said that was perfectly normal.

My daughter was 4 when she lost her first tooth and my son is 2 weeks shy of his 7th birthday and just lost his first tooth. Your little one is right on track, no need to be concerned.

AROUND 6 OR 7

Between 5 and 6. Perhaps he injured the tooth at some point causing it to come out early. If you are nervous about it, perhaps a call to the dentist will allay your fears.

no worries, i think eric was around five and alli was even younger, they been gettin money outta me ever since..hugs baby
hugs.........

Your momma is wrong to worry you..this just means he will be getting his adult teehth earlier..between 4 & 6 is the norm..Hope I was helpful Miss.
