I sometimes wonder why the hell God ever invented wisdom teeth. What are they fore anyway? Is it just to give us pain?

Best advice is for you to go to a dentist and see what can be done.

If you cannot afford dentistry and you are living in or near London. You can try your luck at Guys Hospital Dental Department. They will treat you for free, but you'll be treated by trainee dentists - ouch! Not that bad actually.

Guys hospital is next to London Bridge Railway station here in London - can't miss it; walk over the small footbridge straight into the hospital. The dental dept on 23rd floor I think but ask first.....

Yes this sounds like classical symptoms. I would urge you to see your dentist as soon as possible as it sounds like you need antibiotics and the wisdom tooth removed.
If you don;t have a dentist then phone NHS Direct and they will access you to an emergency dentist.

what am i ,your dentist.

Ouch there. If your wisdom tooth hasn't grown yet, I suggest you have one of your molars removed, since wisdom tooth always hurts because there's no more space. If it's infected, however, go to your dentist and ask if you need antibiotics or painkillers. I wish the tooth fairy never existed! :p

It depends how long you have these symptoms too. Any way i think its better you extract (take it out) this tooth. Try to visit any nice dental clinic. oral maxillo facial surgeon is best in this case.
Get well soon.

don't worry this is normal when getting a wisdom tooth but have it checked out to be safe.

You aren't alone! I have 3 wisdom teeth come through fine but my last one isn't like the others. My gum's very swollen and really painful, like having a headache in your jaw so I too am going to the dentist :-/

It sounds like a wisdom tooth but generally wisdom teeth grow form about 18 - 25. An abscess can also give huge pain like the one your discribling, getting it cheaked out is for the best! let me know how it goes. Good luck

Gargle a mixture of salt and warm water or gargle a shot of whiskey or rum for curbing pain due to teething "wisdom teeth". More remedies and information regarding your wisdom teeth at http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/
