Can males become dental nurses?!
Question: Would this cause any problems? would anyone (as patients) be offended or intimidated by a male dental nurse? would anyone actually prefer a male dental nurse?

yes you can become a dental nurse, but its lonely for men, 20 times more ladies than men, i know a male dental nurse and he is brilliant with the patients. you may be restricted to only working with female dentists once your qualified though for legal reasons that you will learn about.
go for it, its a career thats in demand and you will always be needed, i don't see dentists getting replaced by machines in the near future, do you? its also very fulfilling seeing the results. good luck

You can do what ever you want to do.Why would someone be offended by a male being a dental nurse.Their are no laws on jobs saying that males and females can only have certain jobs.My dentist is a male so, I wouldn't mind.I am sure there are many males who are dental nurses and there definitly are people who prefer it.

Yes of course they can. Why would anyone object ot a male dental nurse? Its not like you are going to be undressing them. All you will be seeing is their mouth.
Yes of course they can. This is an equal opportunities country and you have to have a very good reason not to offer a job to both male and female.

YES you can because there was some guys in my dental assisting class that i was taking.Its not wierd so if your interested in it take a chance at it.

Uh, dude...don't you know that the dentist must be male and the nurse must be female? And the nurse has to be 20 something and cute and wear high heels to work everyday. Duhhhh.... you dolt, of course men can be dental nurses and women can be dentists. I would say that the only thing a man can't be is a lingerie model or a wet nurse....right?
