Floss after every meal ?!

Question: I always brush after each meal but is flossing a must after each meal too?

Answers: I always brush after each meal but is flossing a must after each meal too?

I would floss after every meal if I have certain areas that get food stuck in them due to spaces or any other reason.
Flossing is indicated once a day really, if you can do it more often is even better.
What matters is how you floss. you should think of a floss exactly like a tooth brush, you should rub the floss on each tooth surface 10-15 times, getting the floss in-out once is like passing the tooth brush once on your teeth, maybe that's an exaggeration as the floss is subject to more pressure in tight teeth contact, but it is certainly true in teeth without proper contact point.
Hope that helped.

I do because I'm paranoid that there's something in my teeth.

The dentist says at least once a day before you go to bed.

Well, you don't really need to brush after every meal, just floss.

Flossing is really important.

If you value your good health then YES floss after every meal. If you can't then try at least morning and night.

Bad teeth and gums can give you heart problems.

You only need to floss once a day. preferably after dinner. You have more time to do it before going to sleep.
