Braces soon?

ok so im getting braces really soon i think on june 5th i already asked a question about this kinda but i need to know a little more or would like too. so heres a list of things i would like to know about braces...




1. how long does it take to get them on?




2. the first day are they gonna put a wire on too or just the brackets?




3.what colors should i get what are most popular or look good together?




4.and how do they apply them is there a website or anything that shows how thy put them on?

1. Depends on the person and the ortho. I have a full set of braces (upper and lower set). It took 40 minutes in total to have my braces fitted.

2. They will do both. A bracket on each individual tooth, followed by the ligatures and the wire. (The ligature help the wire fit to the bracket).

3. No idea on colours, because I haven't had my first 'adjustment' (it is on Friday) and I went for plain silver for the first time.

Keep your mind on the end result, you'll be fine. If I have been fine almost 7 weeks into my brace treatment, I'm sure you will.
