I had mine taken out with IV sedation . They say that you are semi awake with this , but I could not remember anything that happened.
If you can------avoid general anesthesia ( hose down the throat to breathe for you ) .
In my opinion IV sedation is the way to go, unless there are medical reasons not to.
Anything can be dangerous, it depends on your blood pressure and other health things. If everything is fine, than it should be fine. I had that, and had no problem. Your doctor should tell you more.
It has the possibility of being dangerous, but it usually isn't. I had my wisdom teeth out with general anesthesia, and it was fine. I was just very tired afterwards. My daughter had hers out with just novacaine, and she was also fine. Do what makes you comfortable. Either way, you'll be fine. Don't worry.
