Does the gas they offer you at the Dentist work?!
Question: I am having some dental work done and am very nervous at the dentist, she said all they can offer is 30 minutes of the gas for $50.00 or a pill that would knock me out for $200.00, I think I will go for the cheaper one. But will it help to relax me?

OH yeah, nitrus oxide works very well. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled (all 4 at once and all were impacted). It not only relaxed me but I never felt any pain and was actually in and out of consciousness many times. You'll definetly need someone to drive you home though. I felt that it was one of the best ways to get work done and recommended it to my brother who is having his wisdom teeth pulled this year.
Yes Nitrous Oxide relaxes you very well. I had dental work done and I have a strong fear of needles. not only was I able to not freak out at getting the shots. but I was able to observe the work being done through the doctors visor.
just dont eat anything 30 minutes before or after as it can make you throw up.

the gas is great girl it puts you in your own little world go for the gas and good luck :)
