Thank you Dr. Tom. I am scheduled soon to have my two front teeth done. I was a heavy lemon eater and it worn alot of dentin ? from the front teeth , now they look stained and thin.Your answer was excellent and helpful to me.

lumineers can be placed directly over an existing tooth without any drilling. conventional veneers require a 1 mm surface reduction. obviously the lumineers sound like the better choice but in my opinion the final result looks a little bulky. now the ads for lumineers look great but it won't look that good in your own mouth. celebrities get conventional veneers because the natural contours of the teeth are preserved.
lumineers are a great idea but i'm not a fan and don't do them in my practice.
