it really depends on the type of insurance you have, if you have any...mine were about $3600 with insurance for 18 months and it included top, bottom, and retainers...but without it i think it would have been about $5000...i recently went and found out i have my wisdom teeth and i will need my braces again, they sad that i will have to pay $1800 for the bottom braces for 18 months.

My daughter goes to the orthodontist and I think the total price was around $4400 for full braces. She only has it on the top row, so her's was $2200.
mine costed around 3,000 bucks and i only had mine for about 20 months. retainers were extra to keep my teeth straight after but it was definitely worth it!
It depends on the extent of work that needs to be done. Usually done in phases. Both of my daughters have worn braces and their treatments were both between 5 and 6 thousand. Most orthodontists do have payment plans and/or loan options available.
if you are aged between 11 to 16 to 18, you might as well can get NHS FREE BRACES AT YOUR LOCAL ORTHODONTICS,
they can cost anywhere from 1000$ to 5000$ sometimes even more..depends where you are which ones you get and it also depends on how many you get as in top, bottom...also how much work needs to be done on them, the change of color ..etc
