Dental problems.....HELP!!!!?

i have these springs in my mouth to bring my lower jaw forward....but they make my mouth look swollen....and i cant smile properly......i cant talk properly either....theyre a real pain..how can i make my mouth look normal???? help me cope with this!!!

I just got them too, i need them for at least 6 months!!! Im afraid of what my boyfriend will think tho...do u think u would be able to french kiss with them? I think i could but it might be harder...lol
