Is a maxiofacial surgeon qualified to do sinus surgery?!
Question: A maxillofacial surgeon (aka oral surgeon) is very qualified to do sinus surgery; that's one of the things that general dentists refer out to them to do. Oral surgeons receive extra training (4-6 years) to learn how to do surgeries such as sinus lifts, implant placement, facial reconstruction, etc. There isn't anyone more qualified than them to complete that treatment

i think so. maxiofacial has the word "face" in it and the nose is on the face.
