braces not hurt they just feel really weird if u move to much than it hurt sso sit still

no you dont

It wont hurt, people say it hurts to make them selves to be stronger than they Actually are, If you get my drift
If the Dentist asked if i want braces when i go for my Sedation i would take them, Lovely straight teeth and you look good with braces
I have heard its not sore, Its only sore when they get tightend and even of that its not as bad as Toothache, It will just be pressure on the teeth

an over bite is when your top front teeth jut out over your lower front teeth by more than 3mm, to measure it get a ruler and close your teeth together, place the ruler facing out your mouth but touching your lower teeth, measure the distance from the lower teeth to the tip of the front teeth.

now as far as braces are concerned everyone feels pain differently. when braces are fitted it takes a few hours for your teeth to start loosening off, when they do some people feel nothing, some just tightness, some feel twinges, some feel a dull ache, others feel pain. it depends on what is getting done at the time. but assuming its really sore it can be controlled by normal painkillers like paracetamol. the pain would at the most last a week and then it settles down, some people only feel it when they are eating, if they do then a soft food diet is advised till it settles down.

i would not listen too much about what other people say about the pain as some people have higher pain thresholds than others, it only matters what you are feeling, in most cases its just a twinge.

don't listen to your friends saying your going to have braces. i mean, have you been referred to the orthodontist yet? if not then you may never need them, and also remember your still growing and alot can happen between now and when your 18ish.

don't worry about it.
